Colour re-selection.....

The problem with waiting so long for land to register and a house to be built is that you can change your mind about what you like. We still love Grey and White as a pallet, but we just weren't sure how grey and how white. Also Elderton has expanded  so we rang them and got another appointment today. We saw more of the ranges than before and made more upgrades and spent more money!

Bathroom - Changed cupboards to Royal Oyster

Kitchen - We changed to White Matt and Astral Bench top, the cupboards and the door handles. There will also be similar pannelling to the cupboards on the side and back of the bench/island.
We also saw our 900mm stove and oven.

 Cupboard style, colour and handles

Smeg Stove and Oven

Glass splashback colour - Grey Pepple (Dulux)
Cupboard and Benchtop samples

Carpet - Either of these, depending on the cost of the upgrade. The Aged Driftwood is included in our packaged,
Aged Driftwood
Safari Dust

Internal Door upgrade throughout ($520 for Hume Doors Accent Range HA4)

Land Ahoy....

Well we are not quite at registration yet, we believe that they should be in the process of lodging the application for registration with the council, this process could take anywhere between 2-6 months. Clearstate (property developers) are estimating October November.

Lot 16 marked out and ready to go

Nearly there

After a long delay we have a mostly surfaced road! The process has taken much longer than anyone expected because the council had changed the design of Boundary Rd several times during the DA and detailed design phase after the bulk earthworks CC had been approved. This essentially meant work was stalled for 3 months over the Jan/Feb/March 2016 period. We had a newsletter from Clearstate to say that the land should be completed in August 2016 and registration in November 2016. They have also advised us that once they reach practical completion we will be able to carry out our survey for our individual DA (Development Application). Elderton has already told us that this shouldn't be a long process as they are going to use a private certifier.
The next phase with Elderton will be choosing tiles for the flooring, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. We have also changed our mind about a few of the other colour choices, which we will update with later.

Westminster Rd entry, they have done all the electrical work for the street lamps so we think this will be next.

St Albans Rd, not quiet complete but getting there.
